FOR PREVENTING THE DECAY OF THE WORLD BY THOSE WHO HAVE NO INTEREST IN ANYTHING BUT THEIR OWN SELFISH DESIRES.
It is of immense wretchedness to observe teens and young adults acting in such a way as to flirt or interact in an over-friendly behavior with someone of the opposite sex other than their own partner. These people have no heed for what others may think and do not take into contemplation the views and feelings of those being affected. They clothe themselves in a manner that portrays themselves in dreadful ways and causes others of teh opposite sex to falter.
In my solitary judgment, I believe that this very concern is the chief foundation of nearly all wrecked marriages and relationships in our culture today. These teens and young adults do not supply any decent positive outcomes in our society and leave everyone else hurt and baffled and bitter. Our society as a whole today would very much benefit if the quantity of teens and young adults interacting flirtaciously with the opposite sex was abridged drastically. According to a Time-CNN poll, 85% of women who feel that their partner is cheating on them are correct. 50% of men who feel that their partner is cheating on them are correct. According to a Washington Post Poll, 1 out of every 2.7 marriages is affected by affairs. 86% of men and 81% of women confess that they regularly flirt with the opposite sex. These statistics are just a diminutive fraction of what truly happens between people of the opposite sex. Our views of love and relationships are extensively distorted by these groups of people who cheat on their partners. This issue is taking over what we know as true love and replacing it with dishonesty, lying, and corruption.
How would you react if your partner was having an affair with another individual of the opposite sex? Our ordinary reply would be "I can't believe they did that!" What in their right minds makes them believe that it is acceptable for them to engage in affairs but not their partner? Those that think such a thing are pure and entirely selfish and do not by all means deserve to discover true love. Two instances in my dating relationship with the same guy did my boyfriend interact with a girl who was not his girlfriend. No one could even begin to imagine how I felt during those times. My heart was torn with depression and lonesomeness. I finally got the audacity to speak with him concerning it. He said that he had no idea that he was sending signals to those other girls by continuously flirting with them.
Those that always engage in innapropriate behavior with those of the opposite sex are blind to the consequences and feelings of cheating on their partner. Again, they only desire what is beneficiary for themselves by acting egotistical and dim-witted and prtraying themselves as not anything but players for the entire human race to see. Take into account Jamie Jungers, part time model and part time escort. She intentionally seduced Tiger Woods and caused him to wander away from his wife and family to commit adultery. It also does not aid that she was dressed like a prostitue with scarcely any clothing to cover up her body. Also take into account Miley Cyrus, a young singer and teen-sensation pop-star. At age 17, she wears leather shorts that without a doubt were not even made with a foot of material and a crop top shirt that could only fit the paw of teh average-sized cat. And believe it or not, Miley Cyrus claims to be a Christian.
How demeaning to a Christian man or woman it is if they take part in an affair with a person of the opposite sex. Sadly, even Christians take part in this major issue today. 70% of Christians, repoerted by CNN, admit to struggling with porn. 50% of Christian men and 20% of Christian women are addicted to pornography. 69% of these men and women admit that they view pornography to acquire ideas on how to attract others of the opposite sex (Kinsey Institute Survey). What does the Bible say about adultery and interacting flirtatiously with others? From the Bible, Provers 6:32 says, "But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself." Adultery si not just having sex with someone other than your partner (who you are not married to), but also refers to any desire towards another person that you are not married to. The consequences of cheating on your partner by even only flirting with another person are only negative and it only creates hurt and turmoil.
I believe that in order to conserve our Christian views of love and relationships, intimate and over-friendly relations with others of the opposite sex other than your partner should be stopped entirely. The meaning of my proposal is not to shut everyone into a box for the rest of his or her life. The idea is to disontinue any inappropriate, wrong, and sinful thoughts and actions towards others by getting rid of every selfish desire of the world. When encountering a person of the opposite sex, make yourself stop and consider what you would do if Jesus was standing right next to you.
If you don't give a car as to what i am saying, that is not my crisis. I won't be the one screwing up my life and realtionships by focusing onwhat i crave and being utterly self-centered. Flirting with members of the opposte sex is a desire. Any desire is a want, not a need. When a want takes over th entire mind, only sin and consequences will emerge. If sin and consequences are what you year for, then Heaven has no place for those like you in its Kingdom.
